Who We Are
About Wildish
A premier cultural center committed to celebrating and connecting the lives of our community through arts and culture.
Our Mission
Culture for Every Corner of Springfield
The Richard E. Wildish Community Theater opened its doors in 2006 as a space where Springfield could gather, celebrate, and connect. Since then, we have hosted hundreds of performances spanning dance, music, theater, opera, and cultural events.
We believe the arts belong to everyone. Whether you're a lifelong theater-goer or attending your first live performance, Wildish is your home.
We are a nonprofit organization sustained by ticket sales, donations, grants, and the generous support of our community.
Hearing Loop Equipped
Wildish Theater features a state-of-the-art hearing loop system from Otojoy, allowing patrons with hearing aids or cochlear implants to receive crystal-clear audio directly through their devices — because the arts are for everyone.
